06 — Accounts & permissions
The right screen for every seat in the school.
A flight school has three kinds of people and one shared calendar. StratusLog gives each of them their own login and shows them exactly what their role needs, enforced at the database, not just hidden in the interface.

Students
A student signs in and sees their upcoming lessons, confirms or asks to move them, reads their own logbook and progress, and pays their invoices. They cannot see another student, another instructor's day, or the school's money.

Instructors
Instructors see the board, their own lessons, the students they teach, the log-flight sheet, and their own earnings. They can connect their personal calendar so their outside commitments block their lane.

Owners and admins
Owners set rates, approve discounts, see every instructor's payouts, manage the fleet, and invite people. An owner who also instructs can flip one switch so their own flying is logged as theirs. Operators with more than one school keep each one's data fully separate.
Notifications that reach the right person
Payments, payouts, disputes, and schedule changes land in an in-app inbox and, on the phone, as push notifications, each routed to the role that needs to act on it.
Questions about accounts & permissions
Is my school's data secure?
Sensitive credentials such as Stripe secret keys are encrypted server-side with AES-256-GCM. Each school's data is isolated at the database level, so a multi-location operator never sees one school's records from another. Roles control who sees what: students see only their own data, instructors see their lessons and earnings, owners see everything. You can export your data at any time.

Sign up at app.stratuslog.co, add your school, your instructors, your aircraft, and your first students, and log a flight. Most schools are live the same day. The first 30 days are free on either plan, and a walkthrough is one message away on the contact page.
